Master Myrlino P. Hufana is the founder and chief instructor of Bellevue Martial Arts Academy and Hufana Traditional Arnis International. Master Hufana has over 43 years of training and experience in the martial arts including competition and teaching members of the Law Enforcement and USA Special Forces. Master Hufana has trained and promoted over 70 black belts (Taekwondo & Arnis) since opening the Academy in 1991, but only a few of the best continue to be dedicated and train, furthering their knowledge, skill and experience.
Despite of having developed a team of excellent instructors, Master Hufana continues to teach 80% of the Academy's training sessions. Punong Guro (system founder & grandmaster) is also a world-renowned master of the Filipino Martial Arts. PG Hufana established a series of annual training camps (HTAI Spring/Summer/Fall training camps) since 1994, focusing on teaching authentic Arnis/Eskrima/Kali to all levels of students and instructors.
PG Hufana also founded and produced the World Filipino Martial Arts Association, whereby a list of highly noted Fillipino Martial Arts masters and grandmasters have taken part of its events since 2003. As the Founder and President of the WFMAA, PG Hufana regularly travels to the Philippines to visit with Grandmasters and Masters of the warrior arts of the Philippines.
One of PG Hufana's proud and honorable achievements is having directed and co-produced the Award Winning feature film documentary Voices of the Masters: Warrior arts of the Philippines. It was accepted to feature at 9 international film festivals in 2011, and won the 2011 New York International Film Festival Award for "Best Sports Documentary"!
