Welcome to the official website of Bellevue Martial Arts Academy and Hufana Traditional Arnis International - an academy of Traditional Tae Kwon Do and Filipino Martial Arts (Arnis, Kali, Eskrima). The Academy was established in 1991 by Master Myrlino P. Hufana, the Punong Guro (Founder & Grandmaster) of HTAI and a 5th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor in Traditional Taekwondo (ITF Form).
Master Hufana's passion and dedication to providing the best instruction and guidance extend beyond that of the average teacher. In fact, Master Hufana has established national and international endorsements, affiliation and brotherhood with some of the top Masters and Grandmasters in the world. This BROTHERHOOD has given Master Hufana and his students great advantage in furthering their experience, knowledge and training in the most realistic, practical and highly effective martial art and self-defense system.
Bellevue Martial Arts Academy's mission is to help people protect themselves, educate students the benefits of martial arts training, and to have students realize their greatest potential. We are a family business who genuinely cares for the development, growth and success of each student. Our success is built on a foundation of strong fundamentals, a passion to understand, willingness to learn, and the character to lead. Instructors of the Academy are carefully selected and personally taught by Master Hufana. The depth of experience, skill and knowledge of each certified instructor is superb! Most of our students come from Word of Mouth, speaking loud of the Academy's quality students and exceptional standards.
